When looking at this picture from left to right there is a small boy wearing
what looks like a straw hat standing next to a counselor with rolled up shirt
sleeves that seems to be helping him. That small boy, Sol Krawatsky, is the father of
Roz (Krawatsky) Mazzilli(1956) and Roberta (Krawatsky) Ebstein(1951). Sol came to NY from
Russia in 1920 when he was 10 years old and was one of the first campers at Kinderland. Years later,
after marrying his long time sweetheart, Minnie Heller, they sent their children Roberta and Roslyn Krawatsky
to Camp Kinderland, he became active and the President of the Parents Association of Kinderland.
